Research area: Actuality of Max Weber’s social theory, Weber’s method (micro-macro problem), Weber’s social ontology, Weber-Paradigm.
‘I’ve been writing about Max Weber since the early years of graduation when I became interested in his studies of world religions. At this time, my research had a more exegetical character, and, therefore, my intention was to understand what Weber meant when he wrote about that. Nonetheless, my interest now is focused on the actuality of his theory: is less about «what Weber wanted to say» and more «what are the contributions of his theory to contemporary Sociology». Despite being a classic, I believe Max Weber can still contribute to current sociological theory in many ways and interpretations.’
